Telehealth

New to our clinic is online physical therapy treatment through telehealth.

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is used when you are unable to see your physical therapist in person. Telehealth involves appointments through 2-way video conferencing. You receive one-on-one virtual treatment with a licensed physical therapist. During your telehealth appointment your physical therapist will guide you through exercises, update your home exercise program, analyze your movement and answer any questions you may have.

How do I set up a Telehealth appointment?

Call Healing Hands Physical Therapy and our front desk will set up an appointment with a physical therapist.  You will receive an email the day before your appointment with a link to a video conference meeting.  Your therapist will open the meeting at your scheduled appointment time.  Make sure to turn the audio and visual on so the therapist can see you.

Please set up your computer before the meeting so you are ready to go at your scheduled time.  Have a space that you can exercise that is in view of your camera and wear comfortable clothing.  Your session wil last about 30-40 minutes.

We want to help you find the path to wellness.

We recognize that Telehealth is not the same as in-person physical therapy, but it is a great way to help you recover from your injury while you are away from the office. If you have any questions about this, please contact Healing Hands Physical Therapy at 734-222-8515.
